Nutriva in your assistant

Your calorie diary, in a chat with Claude or ChatGPT

Connect your Nutriva account to the assistant you already use and ask how much protein you have left, log a meal or add water without opening the app. You choose the permissions and can disconnect anytime.

What you can ask

  • How much protein do I have left today?
  • How did my calories go this week?
  • Log two eggs and a slice of toast for breakfast.
  • Add 500 ml of water.
  • Fix today's weigh-in.
  • What did I eat for dinner yesterday?

Before saving, the assistant shows the items, portions and estimates for you to review.

How to connect

  1. Create your account in the app and turn on backup

In Nutriva 1.26.0 or later, sign in with Google or Apple under Settings → Account & sync. The assistant reads that account's synced data.

  2. Connect in your assistant

In Claude, open Nutriva in the connector directory and choose Connect. In ChatGPT on the web, add a custom connection with Nutriva's address. The setup guide walks through each screen.

  3. Choose the permissions

Sign in with the same account as the app. Connections start read-only; to log by chatting, the assistant asks to reconnect and you choose read and write.

Nutriva is published in the Claude directory. In ChatGPT, the public listing is in review; a custom connection on the web already works.

See a real connection

A real recording of a test conversation in ChatGPT, using fictional data. The interface shown is ChatGPT's.

In the video, in Portuguese, the assistant checks how much protein is left, logs 300 ml of water, corrects it to 350 ml, looks up boiled egg in Nutriva's catalog, declines to change the goal and height (the connection does not edit the profile) and deletes the test entry.

You stay in control

  • Connections start read-only. Read and write is your choice, on Nutriva's authorization screen.
  • You see and disconnect each assistant under My account → Connected apps.
  • What the assistant reads is then handled under its own policies. Disconnecting stops new access but does not erase what was already shared in the conversation.
  • Logging in the app keeps working offline, with or without a connected assistant.

What the assistant does not do

  • It does not change your profile, goals or recipes.
  • It sees nothing that stays only on your phone, such as the measurements and photos of the Body card.
  • It is not medical or dietitian advice.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Nutriva's integration is free and does not need Nutriva Pro. Assistant availability and limits depend on your Claude or ChatGPT plan.

Do I need an account?

Yes: the assistant reads your Nutriva account, so you sign in with Google or Apple in the app and turn on backup. If you'd rather not sign in, the app keeps working as always.

What data does the assistant see?

Your synced diary, foods, goals, preferences, water and weight. With read and write access it can also log, correct and delete food, water and weight entries.

Is this Nutriva's AI?

No. The app's AI features are separate, with their own consent. This is the assistant you already use, with your own account there, talking to your Nutriva.

How do I disconnect?

Under My account → Connected apps, at any time. The assistant's next request is refused.
